Is it good to have Guru in 7th House for Marriage Life?

First, the Guru will not harm
always by getting placed in the 7th House, First let us see about the Guru and
the 7th House through astrological point of view.
Guru (Jupiter): The Guru becomes the natural benefice planet as per the Vedic Astrology
along with Venus, Budhan and Ascending Moon. In Vedic Astrology, there are
multiple rules and by-laws that are applicable while ascertaining the
functionalities of any Planets. Here, once such rule is Kendrapati Dosha .
Kendrapati Dosha: The natural benefice Planets like Ascending Moon, Mercury (Budhan),
Venus and Guru will deliver Dosha (bad luck) by claiming Lordship over the
Quadrant Houses (1st, 4th, 7th and 10th Houses from the Ascendant).
Kendra = Quadrant
Athipati = Lordship
Dosha = Bad Luck
That is, the Affliction of bad
luck through the Lordship over Quadrant (1st, 4th, 7th and 10th Houses from the
Ascendant). That is, the Ascending Moon, Mercury (Budhan), Venus and Guru will
deliver malefic results, if it claims the Lordship over the Quadrant Houses.
But here there is a by-law.
Ascending Moon & Venus will achieve greater strength in the 4th House and loses most of its
strength in the 10th House.
Budhan & Guru will achieve greater strength in the Ascending Sign and loses most of
its strength in the 7th House.
Similarly, there are rules for
malefic Planets in this by-law (I shall give it for the astrology lovers
interest)
Sun & Mars will achieve greater strength in the 10th House and loses most of its
strength in the 4th House.
Shani will achieve greater strength in the 7th House and loses most of its
strength in the Ascending Sign.
Note: These Planets will either increase their malefic (or) benefice
characteristics, depending upon their Lordship by getting placed on those
houses that are mentioned above.
Thus, the Guru will lose its
strength by getting placed in the 7th house, as per this by-law. The Guru owns
the “Lordship of Quadrant Houses” for Mithuna (Gemini), Kanya
(Virgo), Dhanusu (Sagittarius) and Meena (Pisces) Lagna (Ascendant Signs).
But the Guru owns the 7th
House for Mithuna Lagna and Kanya Lagna. Thus the Guru will do more harm to the
Mithuna Lagna and Kanya Lagna natives by getting placed in the 7th House (Even
if it happens to be in its own House). That is, the Dhanusu Lagna and Meena
Lagna will not face difficulties equivalent to the Mithuna and Kanya Lagna
natives.
7th House: Now let us see the astrological parameters of the 7th House. The Lagna’s
are divided into 3 categories (Sara/Sthra/Upaya). For more on 7th House and 7th
House Lord,
1. Sara Lagna’s: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn
2. Sthra Lagna’s: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius
3. Upaya Lagna’s: Gemini, Virgo,
Sagittarius and Pisces
Now there is another “by-law”
for understanding the functional qualities of the 7th House.
1. For Sara Lagna’s. the 7th House becomes the “Maraka Sthana (House of Death)” and 7th House Lord becomes the “Maraka Graha” (House Lord of Death)”
2. For Sthara Lagna’s, the 7th House is neutral (it is not malefic nor considered as benefice. Thus, the 7th House lord remains neutral.
3. For Upaya Lagna’s the 7th House becomes “Maraka Sthana (House of Death)” and 7th House Lord
becomes the “Maraka Graha” (House Lord of Death)” along with additional
qualifications as “Pathaga Sthana” (House of Collateral Damages) and “House
Lord of Collateral Damages” Thus the 7th House and the 7th House Lord becomes
“Double Malefic” to the Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces ascendant sign.
Answer to the Question:
1.
If the Guru is placed in the
7th House for Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn ascendant sign’s, then the
functional capabilities of the Guru would be damaged by getting placed in the
malefic 7th House (Maraka Sthana).
2.
If the Guru is placed in the
7th House for Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius ascendant signs, then the Guru
will not deliver any harmful results.
3.
If the Guru is placed in the
7th House for Sagittarius and Pisces ascendant signs, then it will do more harm
by getting placed in the malefic 7th House (Maraka & Pathaga Sthanas).
4.
If the Guru is placed in the
7th House for Gemini and Virgo ascendant sign, then it will do utmost harm by
getting placed in the malefic 7th House (Maraka & Pathaga Sthanas) with the
“Kendra Athipathya” title.
5.
The Guru would give a “Double
Whammy punch” to the Mithuna Lagna (Gemini Ascendant) and Kanya Lagna
(Virgo Ascendant) signs, even though the Guru is placed in its own 7th House.
6.
The Rishaba, Simha, Viruchika
and Kumbha Lagna natives can be relaxed by seeing the Guru in their 7th House.
7.
The Dhanusu and Meena Lagna
natives will face the possibility of the Guru playing “errant games” in
their life by getting placed in the 7th House.
8.
The Mesha, Kataka, Thula and
Makara Lagna natives will face Guru playing “Spoil sports” in
their life, if the Guru is placed in the 7th house.
9.
The Mithuna & Kanya
Lagna’s would be made to pay heavy price in their life by seeing the Guru in
their 7th House.
Opinion: I had seen some comments that Guru would do more good during its
Mahadasa period and some of them wrote that they were in a good time during the
Mahadasa period for the Mithuna Lagna during the Guru Mahadasa periods. Let me
answer for these comments:
How do you judge the success
of any “Mahadasa periods”?
Many people tend to think that
if they earn money and buy assets, then it is considered as the most successful
periods. Mrs. Indira Gandhi was at the height of the power (that is she exceled
in her career by becoming the PM of India) and remained financially sound. That
is, she was highly successful in her career and finances. But that was the
time, she lost her life to the terrorists. How do we rate that period,
successful (or) disastrous?
I know a person who worked in
a top ranking position in Mines. He earned lot of money, bought assets and lead
a wonderful lifestyle. He had retired from the job and was leading a beautiful
& financially secured life after the retirement. But within 6 months of
retirement, he fell sick and died within a week in the Hospital. It happened
due to the health problems that he had been affected while working in the mines
and living in a polluted environment. His Job gave him the money, wealth and
successful life; but it delivered the death too.
A particular period (Mahadasa
(or) Antardasa) could bring success in the education but could be a failure in
the career. Similarly, a particular period could be successful in career and
could bring financial difficulties. Hence a period should be termed as success,
only if it works well in education, career, finances, health and personal life.
Moreover the Guru would give
different results, if it is combusted, retrograde, debilitated (or) traversing
under the different Star Lord and their Positions; and as per the Ashtakavargha
strength.
In general, the rule is applicable to all and sundry without any doubts throughout the world now and even in the distant future.
